This website is owned and operated by the Fissile Materials Working Group. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our visitors while they interact with the content on this site (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to the Site only. It does not apply to other websites to which we link. Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we want you to understand what information we collect about you, how we collect it, how that information is used, and how you can control our disclosure of it. You agree that your use of the Site signifies your assent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.
I. Personally-Identifiable Information
No personally identifiable information (i.e. name, address, telephone number, email) will be collected unless it is voluntarily submitted to us via a form on this site. By submitting that information to us, you consent to the use and method of disclosure as described in this Privacy Policy.
The Fissile Materials Working Group only uses your personal information for the original purposes it was given. If you give us personally identifiable information, we will only use it as follows:
1. We may share your personal information with our agents, contractors or partners in connection with services that these individuals or entities perform for, or with, FMWG, such as sending email messages, managing data, hosting our databases, providing data processing services, or providing online consulting services. These agents, contractors or partners have entered into legal agreements with us whereby they are restricted from using this data in any way other than to provide services for FMWG.
2. We retain the right to disclose collected information if required to do so by law or in exceptionally rare instances if acting on a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to protect national, state, or organizational security, or to respond to an emergency situation.
3. If you enter your email address on our contact form or the “Send us a Picture!” form, we may contact you from time to time with updates on our ongoing activities or appeals for action. Each email will contain a link enabling you to unsubscribe from receiving future messages from the FMWG email list.
We do not solicit any personal information from children. If you are not 18 or older, you are not authorized to use the Site. Parents should be aware that there are parental control tools available online that can be used to prevent children from submitting information online without parental permission or from accessing material that is harmful to minors.
We are committed to protecting the information we receive from you. II. Non-Personally Identifiable Information
A cookie is a small, encrypted data string our servers store on your hard drive with a unique generated User ID number when you visit our site. This information is used to administer and update the website. 5Priorities.org will be a more user-friendly site if we know which pages our users are visiting and how often. We will also assess whether the visitors to the site match the expected site demographics and determine how key audiences are navigating the content.

The Fissile Materials Working Group reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time at its sole discretion. If at some point in the future, there is a change to our Privacy Policy, unless we obtain your express consent, such change will only apply to information collected after the revised Privacy Policy took effect. Your continued use of the Site indicates your assent to the Privacy Policy as posted.
